Yalta Zoo
Yalta Zoo
The Yalta Zoo is located near the “Fairy Tales Meadow”. The lovely zoo houses animals and birds consisting of 550 species of 78 types. Among them are African lions and Ussurian tigers, Amur leopards, kangaroo, camels, porcupines, ostriches, griffon vulture, black vulture and hippopotamus. The animals are very well looked after. There are numerous cafes and shops in the zoo grounds

Yalta Dolphinarium
The dolphinarium is located on the grounds of the Yalta Hotel. For a few dollars you can see a 1 hour show with performing Dolphins and Whales. It is also possible to have your photo taken or swim with them in the pool.

Yalta cable car
Yalta's Cable Car
Yalta's cable car rises to the top of Darsan Hill and runs till 11pm. Each car carries 2 people at a time. As it gently sways up the hill in the lovely Crimean breeze it offers spectacular views over Yalta beneath you. At night the lights of the ships out on the Black Sea and of Yalta are a very enjoyable sight.
